The garden

The garden lies to the rear of the house and extends to approximately one third of an acre. South-facing and so with sun from late morning and through the afternoon in to early evening, it is laid party to lawn and partly to mature shrubs and beds.

Set over three levels, the garden is very much for guest use, especially the terrace at the top which, with its views over the historic rooftops and to the wooded side of the gorge beyond, is an ideal spot to enjoy afternoon tea, or simply to relax and unwind.
